Zero Waste Coalition Fall 2024

I hope that everyone had a restful summer! We are so excited to see some of you at our first coalition meeting of the year, which will be next Thursday, September 12th at 4:00pm in the SERC Space.

  • We’ll be welcoming new and old members and organizations to the coalition, learning about the history of zero waste at Cal, and discussing initiatives for the new school year (including Zero Waste October, which is coming up soon!

  • You can also join our coalition meeting online at this link. Remember that our meetings are required for coalition members and a great chance to promote events, build community, and participate in the discussion on Zero Waste at Cal.

  • Ongoing projects!

    • We are excited to (re)-start and brainstorm NEW coalition-wide projects for the semester.

If you cannot attend and would like to designate a different member of your organization, please let us know. These meetings are open to all students, so feel free to invite anyone else who is interested in joining the zero waste conversation!

Lastly, COVID is spreading widely and quickly. Please be sure to prioritize your health and protect the rest of the community by not attending if you are feeling sick <3
