Zero Waste October! 🎃
Zero Waste October is almost here!! We’re so excited to kick-off the month filled with events designed to raise awareness, educate, and inspire zero-waste change. Our next meeting is Thursday, October 3rd at 4:00pm in the SERC Space.
From a Zero Waste Catering Competition to campus-wide clean-up days with DeTrash and e-waste drives with SERC’s Green Team, there something for everyone to get involved in.
Don’t miss out on the ZWC x SERC Book Club’s “Sustainability, Periods, and Justice” or any of the other events— check out the full calendar of events and add the events to your Bcalendar here.
Each event you attend gives you another entry into our raffle for a Stasher bag, one of three $25 gift cards to a local zero-waste shop, and other prizes!! Fill out the form here for each of the events you attend.
Reminder: you can also join our coalition meeting online at this link. Remember that our meetings are required for coalition members and a great chance to promote events, build community, and participate in the discussion on Zero Waste at Cal.
If you cannot attend and would like to designate a different member of your organization, please let us know. These meetings are open to all students, so feel free to invite anyone else who is interested in joining the zero waste conversation!
